A 44-year-old man is facing a felony charge for a November car collision that left a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, sports broadcaster injured. Formal charges include causing injury while driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance.

Two motorists die in Wisconsin head-on crash

Motorists recently received a warning about the dangers associated with failing to maintain control over a motor vehicle. Police reported that two drivers were killed in a motor vehicle accident when their vehicles crashed head-on into each other just outside of Rock Falls. Personnel from the local medical examiner's office were called to the scene after rescuers were unable to revive either of the seriously injured drivers. One of the drivers was 19-years-old and, the other was 62. There were no passengers reported in either car, and no other vehicles were involved in the collision.

'Fast & Furious' franchise actor Paul Walker, 40, killed in crash

Wisconsin fans of film actor Paul Walker joined others around the world in mourning the star of the popular 'Fast & Furious' franchise. The accident investigation stated that speed was a factor in the Nov. 30 crash that claimed the 40-year-old as well as the vehicle's driver, Roger Rodas, a partner in Walker's racing team. The condition of the bodies in the wreck necessitated the use of dental records in order to officially identify the two men.

Wisconsin boy seriously injured by unlicensed pit bull

The owner of a female pit bull was issued a quarantine order after the dog attacked a 7-year-old boy in Racine. According to police, the dog was found to be both unvaccinated and unlicensed. As a result of the attack, the young victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. There have been no reports as to whether the boy's family plans to file a personal injury claim against the dog owner.

Wisconsin man gets 10 years in prison for fatal hit-and-run crash

A 31-year-old man from Wisconsin was sentenced to 10 years in prison after striking a plea deal on charges arising from a fatal hit-and-run car accident. The 71-year-old driver of the vehicle he struck was injured in the crash and died two weeks later. The sentence handed down in the plea deal includes 10 years of extended supervision after the convicted man gets out of prison. He apologized to the family of the victim at his sentencing.

Fatal accident on Wisconsin highway

A Sept. 24 accident has left a 24-year-old Wisconsin man dead and two others injured. The incident is believed to have occurred along State Highway 27 outside of Cataract, Wisconsin.

Wisconsin woman involved in second fatal roadway mishap

Law enforcement authorities in Wisconsin allege that a female motorist was intoxicated when she caused a motor vehicle accident in Lanark. The accident resulted in the death of another motorist. According to law enforcement, the woman drove with a blood alcohol content nearly twice the legal limit permitted in the state of Wisconsin at the time of the accident.

Wisconsin appeals court extends liability in dog bite case

A recent Wisconsin case decided by the District II Court of Appeals held that a person can be found strictly liable for a dog bite, even when they don't live with the animal. This decision is in line with a prior case from the state Supreme Court.

2 dogs attack Wisconsin woman

On Aug. 17, a Neenah woman was attacked by two dogs after she was hired to provide pet care to them and arrived on the premises. The 32-year-old woman works for Never Home Alone Pet Sitting. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of Meadow Lane Avenue in Neenah.

Plymouth woman arrested for fatal accident

A woman was taken into custody after being suspected of causing a deadly early morning crash in Fond du Lac on Highway 23. An initial accident investigation and reports from callers had indicated that the 51-year-old woman was driving a red Chevrolet Cavalier westbound when she passed several cars.
